3-Month Program 4-Month Program In-Season Program
Along with individual pitching lessons, Everitt Athletics also provides discounted, individualized pitching programs for the off-season and in-season baseball season. We offer two off-season programs, a 3 month and a 4 month program. We recommend at least twice a week, but also offer a once a week and three times a week depending on budget and other sports commitments. Our in-season program is tailored towards once a week, just as a tune-up as priorities should come to your school and summer teams. We can also create any kind of program to fit each individuals needs, whether it be a 10 session package, a month or 5 month, we can make anything happen!
Our off-season pitching programs include mechanic, strength/conditioning, and workbook instruction. The programs are tailored to each athlete and include a 4 part focus on Velocity, Efficiency, Consistency, and Arm health which progressively change throughout the program. First and last month programs include video analysis. We incorporate mechanical drills and exercises, arm strength improvements through heavy ball and arm resistance training, shoulder/scapula/rotator strength, flexibility in both upper and lower bodies, bullpen sessions, off-speed work, execution, and command drills.
One of the best ways to learn and get a feel for mechanics is watching yourself pitch. Video analysis is such a key component of learning and teaching mechanics that we incorporate it early in our programs. Video allows us to break down the entire range of motion and slow it down on a frame by frame basis to bring mechanical flaws to light. It also gives each athlete a sense of what we are looking for and ways to fix it.
We also to make sure to touch on all the mental aspects of pitching, ranging from goal setting, approaching hitters, pitchability, mental approaches, and developing a routine, just to name a few.
We also offer a customized, pitching specific strength & conditioning programs to each athlete, tailored to their strengths and weaknesses. Each weeks workouts are analyzed and a new weeks worth of workouts are writing up based on the performance. These are to be done on each athletes own time.
